This specimen was lot 5922 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$3,062 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WALDECK, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1713 FÜRSTENTUM, Georg, 1805-1812-1813. Konv.-Taler 1811. R Patina, fast vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Waldeck, George, 1805-13, convention thaler of 1811. Rare, toned, about extremely fine.)"
Waldeck surrendered its sovereignty to Prussia in 1867.
