This specimen was lot 1406 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,227 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Waldeck, FÜRSTENTUM Friedrich, 1763-1812. Konv.-Taler 1810. Attraktives Exemplar mit herrlicher Patina, vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Waldeck, Frederick, 1763-1812, convention thaler of 1810. Attractive, toned, extremely fine.)"
This rare type exists with (Dav-922a) and without "D.G." in the obverse legend. Waldeck surrendered its sovereignty to Prussia in 1867.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.
