This specimen was lot 73301 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Silver Ducat, 1757/0. PCGS Genuine--Damage, EF Details Gold Shield. A RARE overdate issue, this example presents rather deeply toned surfaces with a solid strike and only mild handling. A few minor edge issues likely account for the details designation." This type was struck 1739-43, 1746-94. It was struck by the other provinces as well, including Zeeland and Westfriesland.
Recorded mintage: 366,054 including 1757/0 and 1757/51.
