This type, struck 1815-28 in small quantities, is somewhat available in circulated condition. The ready availability of Mexican two reales limited demand for this denomination. The 1820 is listed as a common date. "Small 0" and "large 0" varieties exist, with little difference in price. It was slightly modified in 1831 to allow the use of steam powered presses.
