This issue is among the more plentiful of the early date bust half dollars but is less common than the later date issues (1823-36). This specimen has not been attributed by Overton number; specialists are invited to submit their opinions.

Recorded mintage: 1,039,075.

Specification: 13.48 g, 0.892 fine silver, .386 troy oz ASW, lettered edge, designed by John Reich.
