Business Strike Issues: 1903-1921
The Barber half dollar’s cousin (or possibly even sister) was struck originally on Barber planchets. In the 42 years that the series ran, only 15 coins were struck for circulation, one commemorative (the 1936-M) and one trial strike (the 1903-S). Other than the Commonwealth years of 1944-45 (which can be elusive in higher grades), few, if any other years would fall under the category of “a breeze” to obtain. Still an affordable challenge, but with the series’ popularity rising, that may not last long.

Proof Strike Issues: 1903-1908
With populations less than a hundred for each year and mintages for the majority of the issues not much more than that, this set is a challenge to complete.
