This type was struck for the Philippines at the Manila mint to commemorate the establishment of the Commonwealth. It features portraits of Manuel Quezon, first president of the Commonwealth, and Frank Murphy, the last American governor. Commemorative pesos were also struck for the occasion.
Recorded Mintage: 20,000.
