1907-S Fifty Centavos

This type was struck for the Philippines 1907-21. It superseded a larger fifty centavos struck 1903-06. The Philadelphia mint struck this type 1907-08 and 1920-21 and the San Francisco mint struck this type 1907-09, 1917-19. This date is not rare except in uncirculated. All were demonetized by the Philippine government in the late 1960's when the currency was reformed.

Recorded Mintage: 2,112,000.
