Turkey AH 982 altin Fr-5
The first specimen was lot 3809 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$358 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"TÜRKEI, Murad III. 1574-1595 1 Altin 982 H. Sidre Qapsi (Griechenland). Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (sultanate of Turkey, Murad III, 1574-95, altin of AH 982, Sidre Qapsi mint in Greece. Very fine-extremely fine.)"
The second specimen was lot 2432 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[2] noted, "Turkey. Sultani, 982 AH (1573). Fr-6. Murad III, 1574-1595. Arab legend on each side. Very Fine." We can't find this issue in Friedberg.
