This specimen was lot 2346 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $101.15. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mahmud II, 1808-1839, AR 30 para, Kostantiniye, AH1223 year 29, PCGS graded MS63." Despite the auctioneer's description, no thirty para was struck after year 21. We have referred this example to the ten para of years 25-32. The weight and fineness are so low as hardly to matter.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 0.50-0.75 g, 0.170 fine silver.
Catalog reference: KM 595.
