This specimen was lot 367 in Stephen Album sale 47 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Mustafa III, 1757-1774, AV 11/2 altin, Islambul, AH1171 year 1, pierced (as usual), VF." Turkish issues before the reform of 1839 are a mess of constantly changing denominations as the government attempted to debase its way out of perpetual bankruptcy. This type is catalogued in the SCWC for year 7 only.
