This specimen was issued by Turkey as part of the F.A.O. series. Turkey issued an elaborate series of F.A.O. coins, including this gold issue from 1978. The obverse features a mother breastfeeding a child while the reverse is the same oak branch design used on the regular type. This issue was accompanied by a similar 10 kurush in aluminum and 5 lira in stainless steel. The last five kurush was issued in 1980.

Recorded mintage: 17,000.
