This specimen was lot 30 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 6,000 CHF (about US$7,122 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN TUNIS | Mustafa III (1171-1187ah/1757-1774ce) sultani 1186ah (1772ce) AU RR vf+. Ex Spink 133:166." This type was struck AH 1181-1186 in the name of Mustafa III in Constantinople. It is very rare in nice condition. Nearly all the surviving Tunisian gold coins of the hammered era have been holed.
