This specimen was lot 23676 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Thurgau. 1/2 Batzen, 1808. NGC MS-64. A lovely example of this one year billon issue, with pleasing original surfaces and satiny luster." This series of 1808-09, which ranged from a half kreuzer to five batzen, is all there is for this canton.
