This specimen was lot 2189 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND: Rama V, 1868-1910, AR fuang, RS121 (1902), short tail variety, a lovely mint state example! PCGS graded MS63, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type was struck RS 121-127. The date is shown as "๑๒๑" below the arms on the reverse. Presentation strikes in gold exist. Rama V is the potentate starring (some say mocked) in the musical "The King and I."
