This specimen was lot 1297 in Sedwick sale 25 (Winter Park, FL, May 2018), where it sold for $83.30. The catalog description[1] noted, "Thailand, bronze 2 att, RS118 (1899), Rama V, NGC UNC details / cleaned. Bright, brassy color with good details, microscopic hairlines in fields from cleaning. NGC #4715644-002." This type was struck 1887-90, 1895-1900, 1902-05, and is not rare. Two att = 1/32 baht. This date was struck in Hamburg; others were ordered from Bangkok and Birmingham.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common in circulated condition.
Specification: 11.3 g, bronze, 30 mm diameter, plain edge.
