This specimen was lot 1410 in Aureo y Calicó sale 423 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 35 € (about US$45 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1641. Reaper's war. Tàrrega. 1 sisè. Principat. Fine example. MBC+ [choice very fine]." During the War of the Pyrenees (ended 1659), the French occupied Catalonia with the collaboration of the locals and struck coins there. This scarce type was struck 1641 only. This denomination also exists with the bust of king Louis XIII.
