This specimen was lot 75735 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Franc, 1945-B. Bern Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-67+. Surpassed by just two examples, this staggering specimen presents vibrant radiance and eye appeal." This type was struck 1878-1967 in silver and is still in production today in copper-nickel form. Few dates after 1936 are scarce and this one is fairly common.
