Switzerland 1945-B 20 rappen
This specimen was lot 3577 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$435 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Eidgenossenschaft, 20 Rappen 1945 B, Bern. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. NGC MS66. Prachtexemplar. Das neben zwei weiteren durch NGC zweithöchstbewertete Exemplar. (confederation of Switzerland, twenty rappen of 1945, Bern mint. Very rare in this condition, Cabinet piece, Tied with two others for second finest certified by NGC.)"
This type was struck 1881-1938 with no change in design. In 1939, the coin was converted to copper-nickel and is still in production in that form.
Recorded mintage: 1,992,000, a better date.
