This specimen was lot 76386 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. 5 Francs, 1944-B. Bern Mint. NGC MS-66+. From the Richard Margolis Collection." This type was struck in 1944 to mark the 500th anniversary of a battle in which the Swiss turned back a French invasion. Despite the small mintage, it is among the more common Swiss commemoratives.

Recorded mintage: 101,680 plus specimens.

Specification: 15 g, 0.835 fine silver, 31 mm diameter, lettered edge.
