This specimen was lot 31075 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $881.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Confederation gold 100 Francs 1939-B, MS64 PCGS. A beauty with glowing luster and gold toning." The SCWC has pushed all the shooting festival issues into its Unusual World Coins catalog, labeling them medals, not coins. This type was accompanied by a silver five francs (KM S20).
