This specimen was lot 33868 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "Confederation Specimen 10 Rappen 1938-B SP67 ★ NGC, Bern mint. A gorgeous specimen striking with a strong cameo appearance and surfaces so clean that even the minute die polish lines on the obverse can be detected with relative ease. None currently grade higher at NGC." This type was struck 1879-2015 without change, altho a few dates in the thirties (including this one) were struck in pure nickel. Specification: 3 g, nickel, 19.15 mm diameter.
