Sincona sale 101, lot 4436

This specimen was lot 4436 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$271 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Eidgenossenschaft, 10 Rappen 1879 B, Bern. FDC, Feine Patina, Mint State, Nicely toned."

This type was struck 1879-2015 without change.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000, a somewhat scarce date.

Specification: 3 g, copper-nickel, 19.15 mm diameter, plain edge, this specimen 3.03 g.
