This specimen was lot 75703 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Krona, 1961-U. Stockholm Mint. PCGS Prooflike-66. A pleasing prooflike Gem, delivering a rich reflectivity, and much alluring details throughout." This type was issued 1952-66 and is common in all grades. It superseded a similar coin struck for Gustav V (KM 814).

Recorded mintage: 4,283,000 (mintmaster TS) plus 2,973,275 (mintmaster U).

Specification: 7 g, 0.400 fine silver, 25 mm diameter.
