Sweden 1961 50 ore rev DSLR.jpg

This specimen is the last date of a type struck in Sweden 1952-61. Similar billon 50 öre pieces were struck 1943-50 (KM 817). The type is not common but is inexpensive because of lack of interest, not aided by a spare and dull design.

Recorded mintage: 2,775,000.

Specification: 4.8 g, 0.400 fine silver, .061 troy oz ASW, 22 mm diameter, plain edge.

Catalog reference: KM 825.
