Sweden 1950-TS krona

from Stack's Bowers May 2023 Collector's Choice sale, lot 73353

This specimen was lot 73353 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Krone, 1950-TS. Stockholm Mint. Gustaf V. PCGS PROOFLIKE-66. This most pretty specimen delivers an exceptional eye appeal and much charm." This type was struck 1942-50 and is common. The krona was struck to this module until 1968.

Recorded mintage: 5,310,141, a common date.
