This specimen was lot 10738 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 2 Kronor, 1900-EB. Reflective luster. Only 1 graded finer. NGC MS-64." This type was struck in Sweden 1890-1900 and 1903-04. It is not rare in worn condition but expensive choice. The 1897 commemorative two kronor is much more common.

Recorded mintage: 131,000.

Specification: 15 g, 0.800 fine silver, .385 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter.
