This specimen was lot 30648 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II 2 Kronor 1898-EB MS66 NGC, Stockholm mint. An elite survivor of the date, toned-over in variegated shades, with clear underlying mint bloom that attractively cartwheels the central designs and few marks, as one would expect of a premium Gem. The single finest graded coin at NGC." This type was struck in Sweden 1890-1900 and 1903-04. It is not rare in worn condition but expensive choice.
