This specimen was lot 22462 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $147. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Riksdaler, 1783-OL. PCGS XF-45 Secure Holder. Gustav III (1771-92). Minor planchet flaw on obverse." This type was struck 1779-92 and most dates, including this one, are fairly common.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 29.25 g, 0.878 fine silver.
