This specimen was lot 11409 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/24 Riksdaler, 1780 - OL. Stockholm Mint. Gustav III. NGC EF-40. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1778-80 and 1783. This appears to be a most common date.

Recorded mintage: 549,024 including a 1780/79 overdate.

Specifications: 2.77 g, 0.382 fine silver, 20-21 mm diameter, plain edge; this specimen 2.69 g.
