This specimen was lot 1761 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN: Frederick I, 1720-1751, AR riksdaler, 1737, initials GZ, lightly cleaned obverse, mintage of only 8,000 pieces, VF-EF, R, ex Dr. John Lund Collection." This type was struck 1734-38. Swedish crowns of the eighteenth century are scarce as the state was bankrupted by wars in Finland and Poland.
