from the Stack's Bowers February 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 11383

This specimen was lot 11383 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €65 (about US$68). The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Öre, 1735 - GZ. Stockholm Mint. Fredrik I. NGC AU-55. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1720-49 and is common. This denomination was also struck in copper (KM 416.1). Eight öre made a mark and eight mark made a riksdaler.
