This specimen was lot 25625 in Heritage sale 3019 (Chicago, April 2012), where it sold for $1,955. The catalog description[1] noted, "Queen Christina Riksdaler 1644-AG, XF45 NGC, nicely toned with bold design features, light handling in the obverse fields. A classic crown in the Swedish series." This type was struck 1641-53 with numerous varieties; some have Roman numeral dates (as here) and later issues have Arabic numeral dates. This is a common date for the type.
