This type was struck in 1981 only for Swaziland, a poverty-stricken kingdom wedged between South Africa and Mozambique. King Sobhuza II, shown here, ruled 1968-82. In April 2018, the official name of the country was changed from Kingdom of Swaziland to Kingdom of Eswatini.

Recorded mintage: 871,000 plus 10,000 struck in silver (KM 32a).

Specification: 11.65 g, copper-nickel, 30 mm diameter.
