Sudan 1981 100 pounds Fr-7
This specimen was lot 2030 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Sudan. 100 Pounds, AH1401/1981 NGC MS69. For the 25th Anniversary of Independence. Monument in Khartoum. NGC graded MS-69." Sudan obtained independence from Great Britain and Egypt in 1956 and began to issue coins soon thereafter.
