Stephen Album sale 50, lot 1622

This specimen was lot 1622 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $420. The catalog description^[1] noted, "STRAITS SETTLEMENTS: Victoria, 1867-1901, AR 10 cents, 1883-H, faint obverse scratches, key date, VF, R." The type was struck in 1871-1900 and many dates are common, tho this one is rare.

Recorded mintage: 610,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 2.71 g, 0.800 fine silver, 18 mm diameter.
