This specimen was lot 1395 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "STOLBERG: Wolfgang, 1538-1552, AR thaler, Stolberg, 1554. citing 4 other joint rulers in portions of Stolberg-Wernigerode, Ludwig, Heinrich X, Albert Georg & Christof, stag on obverse, better date, Fine, R, ex Hans Mondorf Collection." This type is from one of the many splinters of Stolberg and is listed for 1547, 1550-55.
