This specimen was lot 1356 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,400 (about US$4,583 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"STOLBERG, STOLBERG, GEMEINSCHAFTLICH Wolfgang, Ludwig II. Heinrich XXI. Albrecht Georg und Christof I. 1538-1552. 1/2 Taler 1553, Stolberg. Von größter Seltenheit. Sehr schönes Exemplar. (Germany, county of Stolberg, joint coinage of Wolfgang, Louis II, Henry XXI, Albrecht George and Christopher I, 1538-52, half thaler of 1553, Stolberg mint. Very rare, very fine example.)"

This type is from one of the many splinters of Stolberg.
