Spain 1989 10000 pesetas KM-841
This specimen was lot 3155 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $117.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Spain. 10,000 Pesetas, 1989 Choice Brilliant Unc. Silver. Royal family. Housed in custom plastic holder. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated." This massive commemorative honored the royal family (the young man at the bottom is now king Felipe VI) and regional autonomy (the provincial arms shown on the reverse). This NCLT was part of a set which included 80,000 ₧ (KM 845), 40,000 ₧ (KM 844), 20,000 ₧ (KM 843), 10,000 ₧ (KM 842, gold), 5000 ₧ (KM 840, gold, and KM 839, silver) and 2000 ₧ (KM 838, silver).
