This specimen was lot 3001 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 12 € (about US$16 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1957*60. Franco. 5 pesetas. EBC+ [choice extremely fine]." This type was struck 1958-75 and most dates are common, including this one. Altho the date below the bust is 1957, the actual date is in the star on the reverse; Spain was the only country to do this.
