This specimen was lot 71558 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. 5 Pesetas, 1957 (63). ANACS MS-63. RARE star date. Clear "63" in star on reverse. Lustrous with a nice cartwheel effect. Lightly toned and quite attractive." This type was struck 1957-75 in large numbers and most dates are common. This date is scarce despite the large mintage. Altho the date below the bust is 1957, the actual date is in the stars on the reverse.

Recorded mintage: 50,000,000.

Specification: 5.75 g, copper-nickel, 23 mm diameter.
