This specimen was lot 23218 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $376. The catalog description[1] noted, "SOLOMON ISLANDS. 100 Dollars, 1982-FM. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Battle of Guadalcanal. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices." The Franklin Mint struck NCLT's to this weight standard for the Solomon Islands in 1978 (KM 9), 1982 (KM 14, shown here) and 1983 (KM 18).

Recorded mintage: 311.

Specification: 9.37 g, 0.900 fine gold, .271 troy oz AGW.
