This specimen was lot 71578 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $810. The catalog description[1] noted, "SOLOMON ISLANDS. 100 Dollars, 1984. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Issued for the Olympic Games, featuring a weightlifter. A brilliant and attractive proof with hard mirrored fields, frosted cameo devices, and a yellowish golden tone." This NCLT was accompanied by a silver ten dollars (KM 20).

Recorded mintage: 500.

Specification: 7.50 g, 0.917 fine gold, 0.2197 troy oz AGW.
