This specimen was lot 2746 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRESLAU: Leopold I, 1657-1705, AR 15 kreuzer, 1693, initials MMW, irregular flan, likely from roller dies, small clip at 3:00, rare type, Choice VF, ex Almer H. Orr III Collection." This type was struck 1664-65, 1674-76 and 1692-96 for Leopold I in his capacity as duke of Silesia. It has a modest catalog value. The bishop of Breslau also struck fifteen kreuzer in 1693 (KM 183). Fifteen kreuzer was one-quarter gulden or one-sixth of a thaler.
