This specimen was lot 351 in Künker sale 400 (Berlin, February 2024), where it sold for €4,200 (about US$5,449 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I. 1657-1705. Reichstaler 1678, SHS, Breslau. Von großer Seltenheit. Feine Patina, kl. Prägeschwäche, fast vorzüglich. Erworben im Jahr 1960 von der Tiroler Münzhandlung, Innsbruck. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, thaler of 1678, Breslau mint. Extremely rare, fine patina, slightly weakly struck. Purchased in Innsbruck in 1960.)"
