This specimen was lot 55817 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Silesia. Siege of Schlesien. Uniface Klippe 3/4 Taler, 1621. Ferdinand II. NGC VF-20. Incorrectly called Breslau on NGC insert. From the Augustana Collection." A three thaler klippe (KM 24) and six thaler klippe (KM 27) are also reported. The siege in question was at Glogau, in the northern or lower part of the duchy. We haven't been able to ascertain who was besieged, the Swedish or the imperial army.
