This specimen was lot 41372 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $1,800. The catalog description[1] noted, "SEYCHELLES. 1500 Rupees, 1978. NGC MS-69. Conservation Series issue featuring the Black Paradise Flycatcher with a mintage of 683 pieces. Remarkably preserved with full prooflike reflectivity in the fields and surfaces that are without noticeable instance of handling. Tied for the finest graded (in Business Strike quality) at both NGC and PCGS."
