This specimen was lot 37473 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Bawbee, 1695. Edinburgh Mint. William II. PCGS VF-30. Variety with BR FR spelling. From the Richard August Collection." This type was worth about half an English penny and was struck 1695 only. The denomination was last struck in 1697.
