This specimen was lot 37399 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. 30 Pence, 1594. Edinburgh Mint. James VI. PCGS VF-30. Seventh Coinage. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck 1594-96 and 1598-1601 along with a five shillings and ten shillings.
