This specimen was lot 75498 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Penny, ND (1280-86). Alexander III. NGC EF-40. Attractively toned with fully readable legends and a solid portrait of the king."
